Because as a Deist/Pantheist, I am my own Messiah and God is nothing more to me than a kid with a chemistry set. I also believe that everything has a soul and the consciousness of the universe is God. But my first and highest principal is that I can not interfere with the free will of others. I basically mind my own [blanking] business.
I work in a law firm. We are working here. If I went around saying God this and God that all the time, I might cause offense.
I love Jesus, and if the topic ever comes up, or if someone asks me, I'll be glad to speak about what I believe. But I don't think it appropriate to chatter on, during work hours, about my religious beliefs, if it is not appropriate or wanted.
