pledged (to support, not $) at? the draft Rand Paul site?
Apparently he knows this is going on and is curious how much support he would have.

The pledge widget is at the middle right; you need to enter name, email address and zip code.
What do you think? Would you like for him to run?
Video of him speaking in Montana, supporting Ron Paul's presidential run last year, is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rx-3X8gGASw
Adam, if you don't support him, don't pledge. How bored are you, exactly?
Matt A - earmarks are red herrings. Unless you want to subvert the Constitutional framework that Congress determine where our governmental money goes. And the magna carta allowing the legislature the purse strings was pretty damned hard fought for, much less our own Constitution. If the size of spending is X, and a Congressman says "I am against voting X and will vote against it; but IF the country is voting X my own constituents who will have to pay their share should get their share', that is representation as it should be.
The whole 'earmarks' debate is framed by those who want an even more powerful executive with a line item veto, nullifying Congress's control of the purse strings. Note that the Supreme Court found that to be unconstitutional last time it was tried.
stumped, I respect your position, but being on the other side of that position I donated to Kucinich when he was challenged in the primary for his House seat, when he had the 'temerity' to run for President. I want more honest men in Congress and the Senate. This IS NOT FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION it is for Senate (currently held by the GOP) or possibly a House seat if the GOP Senator runs again. Would you miss Ron Paul in the House? Eventually the man will retire.
Celebrate, the Pauls are antiwar.
panurge2 - bullshit
