If You Like the Red Frame...

on your 1098 as I do, then sorry to say that the 1198 will only have it in teh R version.
I personally like the 1098's black wheels not the 1198's grey frame and wheels.
I do like the black swingarm of tyhe new model.
Just ranting here on the frame color differences...
 
that will look great. post up pics when done.
don't know why they went with the grey frame...
 
The only small disappointment for my 1098s in red is that it didn't come with a black frame. The black came with the red frame and I thought the red would have looked better without the same color frame.

I am glad it's black now. I am planning to chrome my wheels and was going to do the swingarm too but since it's black it wil save me some money. I know chrome wheels are "serious bling" but I like em. I was thinking about throwing on a extended swingarm with a jackshaft and a 300mm phattire kit too! Jk
 
there's a guy in Sydney here who had his new 1098s (Black) pulled apart, painted the frame black (same as fairings), and had everything anodized black.. waiting to see some pics and will post them up..
 
Please do not extend the swingarm on your Duc.!!! You will be defeating the entire purpose of what a Ducati is and completely ruin the handling of your bike!! Go buy a used Busa and stretch it out. Leave the Ducati alone!!!!
