If you left your cell phone in a restaurant and an employee found it...?

would you be angry if that employee looked through your cell phone address book and called your home phone to tell you the phone was left behind? The same could be asked about a wallet. Would you be angry if someone rifled through your things to find information in which to locate you?
The sarcasm is a bit out of line. Just for some clarification, I was the employee and I returned the phone. Thanks for the feedback.

No, only a small minded person would be. You have to go through the phone, and hopefully they have a number labeled as "home" or "parents" where you can start the search. Otherwise, you just drop it off at a police station and they'll try to find the owner... maybe... when they get around to it, which is what I would say to someone who got mad at me.
