If you know the food is unsafe to serve to customers what do you do?

I work in a food place and the way things are going it looks really bad. The other day our fridge somehow froze everything in the deli area. My co-workers just shut it off and let all the meats/veggies thaw. A customer had ordered a caesar with tuna added and they microwaved it because it was frozen. These ppl are crazy and dont know one thing about food safety, what do i do? lets just say its a franchise!
 
Well this is the thing. You can ignore and know that you will still have your job or if you have moral values you would talk to your boss about it. If they choose to fire you, you have everything right to take them to court. First steps first, talk to your boss, say its unsanitary and customers have been complaining. Don't personally tell them you feel that it is morally wrong because they will say okay get lost. Second step if they still choose to ignore you after you have told them, call the health department but do not tell them who you are.

If you know that your coworkers don't give a hoot and neither does your boss, then skip talking to your boss and just call the health dept and tell them you are a customer and you noticed there was a freezer like taste to your "fresh veggies"
