If YOU invited me and me mate to a party that YOU'D organised, what errands would...

...YOU send us on beforehand? (Let's just, for argument's sake, say that we'd both offered to run a few errands for ya, prior to the party!) Only, I made this offer to an old mate of mine, back home in London, about four years back, when he invited me to his wife's sixtieth do, and another mate of ours heard me make this offer, and seconded it. Anyway, this mate of ours thought about our offer for a minute or two, then, he got ME to help him blow up a few balloons and whack up some decorations, and he also got me to go to Tesco's, (on Edmonton Green), and pick up a birthday cake for his missus, with the budget that he'd given me. He then sent me out, to go and meet a group of his mates at the railway station. While I did all that, this other mate of ours was here, there and everywhere else, with this errand and that errand. When we both got back, He gave me mate about fifty quid, and he sent me mate, me, and his youngest granddaughter over The Green, to pick up a few other odds 'n' sods, ready for that night. Me AND me mate BOTH worked bloody hard to help him, prior to the party- (we worked our bloody plums off, in fact), but we were all mates, so neither of us begrudged it at all. If YOU invited us to one of YOUR family members' or mates' parties, and we offered to run a few errands for YOU, prior to the party, what errands would YOU send us on? I'd REALLY appreciate YOUR angles on this one, please, guys. Much obliged! World peace! Peace and love! Be lucky! :)
