What I have noticed so far.

- Instant Voicemail alerts. OS .42 did not have this feature.
- Full html emails even "Get Images" works like a charm. OS .42 did not work for me.
- Responsiveness is fast on my 8800.

No, you still need to "Get images". Nothing happens automatically even with email settings set to automatically.

8800 runnin 4.5.0.55 and lovin it!... FAST smooth and responsive!... Feels like a totally new phone... Install was a lil scary... The device initialization took FOREVER... Browser is much improved... Almost feel like I get better reception too... Better themes... Did I mention? FASTER... No complaints... Just make sure you delete the vendor.xml...~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~

Not necessarily true. You can go into your email settings and set the HTML emails to automatically download the images. i have .52 and it's also working beautifully! not to mention it also cleared up a lot of internal memory on my curve.

.55 isn't that big of a deal on my Curve compaired to .52. There isn't that much of a difference.
