If you had X amount of money to create your own business what would you invest in?

I need to do a powerpoint project for Speech. Im not quite sure what I would invest my money in. Many people have done Child day care centers,dance clubs, a makeup line but i dont want to do those like everyone else has been doing. Pretty much we get however much money we need to create our own company and logo and to make it all happen. We need to hire staff, make up prices for things and make up our own name for the company. You can also make up your own product if you dont want to make up a company. Any ideas??
 
Well, I've always had the idea of having my own Schlotszky's sandwich shop, but since it's already a franchise, and has been for around 42 years, I guess that won't fit your assignment outline. I've always loved that sandwich shop, ever since my first sandwich there, in Austin, Texas, back in 1967, at a dead-end-road store they had that was nowhere as fancy as some of them are today. And I'd love to have my daughter as the manager, some because I love her so much and want to provide a career outlet since she hasn't gone to college, but has several years experience in "eateries" in her small east Texas town. It'd be kinda like a "family restaurant / shop", and it'd bring that old time quaintness and close family as used to be the model for small businesses decades ago in America. We've become too "incorporated" over the years and have lost the personal touch. I'd just hope I didn't eat up too much of the inventory to make any profit, and maintain my healthier, slim figure.
