If you had the opportunity to write an ep. for an animated series....

For me, I could write one episode of FOP where Tootie discover then the grass is greener elsewhere like having a crush on Chester McBadbat and Tootie is the only girl who don't give him the hives. I guess some think it might be a big jump the shark, but heh, let's jump it with a bang. Oh well I did a sketch about this http://stephdumas.deviantart.com/art/Tootie-Chester-and-Vicky-81542308

I could go for some FOP crossovers with series like Wayside and Kappa Mikey, I posted on a Deviantart journal, 2 ideas for a FOP-KM crossover http://kappalizzy.deviantart.com/journal/21684075/

For other series I taught of the following ones even if they are very old-school and didn't had new material
-The Raccoons: Ralph and Melissa have a baby and with their besy work and since Bert leaves now with Lisa, they have to found a babysitter and the Pigs, after being kicked out of Cyril Sneer's office for the 2139th time after asking a raise of their salaries, applied for the job of babysitter. Knowing how the Pigs handed various situations in the past, will disaster come aboard again?

-Rocket Robin Hood: Having some additionnals episodes where some of his Merry Men don't have enough "moment of glory" like Alan-A-Dale, Giles. Having Infinita teaming with other vilains like Dr.Manta.

-Goldorak/Grendizer: writing a better end of the series, the current end when Actarus (Duke Fleed) and Phenicia (Maria Grace Fleed) return to Euphor/Fleed while they left their loving ones (Venusia and Alcor aka Koji Kabuto) on Earth left me unsatisfied and how they get rid of King Vega was a farce compared to the death of one of his right-hand men Hydargos. Come to think of it, maybe we could fix that with a sequel where Actarus and Phenicia returns on Earth thanks to a new threat who menace not only the Earth and planet Euphor but the whole galaxy.

-The Mask: the comic book did it but in a more dramatic way, but this time in a more humoristic way. LT Calloway get the Mask and try it, Stanley Ikpiss and Doyle have to stop him before more disaster arrives mainly a team-up of vilains like Petrorius and the "Terrible two" aka Fishguy and Puttything.

One who's still in the air but for not long (does Mike Judge finally get an agreement with ABC to get KOTH?)
-King of the Hill: Joseph and Dale learned the truth about Nancy and John Redcorn and how they have to cope with it.

And one anime but I guess some writers had already studied or are currently study this possibility
-One Piece: what motivated Tashigi in the past to join the navy and Captain Smoker? (We know Tashigi wants to do some justice but her childhood remains a bit a mystery) Also it could feature a possible link with Zoro's deceased friend Kuina (some already once taught then Tashigi was a grown-up Kuina with a new idendity or a distant relative of Kuina. And the top of it, is a new encounter against Zoro confronting their visions of justice.

Personally, if there's one idea I'd use to write an episode of The Simpsons and Family Guy is that both Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin become president of the U.S. in their respective episodes.

There are so many ways to execute the idea and the outcome is either good or bad but I'd like to write those two episodes.

Is it that episode you mentioned in that fan episode CN board thread? Is so, then I agree. That episode sounded excellent (and I was able to actually picture the ending)! :)

Yep. If anyone was wondering, here was my idea...

The Crazies

Once every year, a strange mist envelops the seas around Stormalong, giving anyone who is stuck in it crazy, messed-up hallucinations, known as The Crazies. K'nuckles decides to sail anyways, because there would be less people looking for Candied Island. K'nuckles, Flapjack, and Bubbie set sail into the mist, gradually becoming insane and experiencing more and more creepy and bizarre hallucinations along the way. Near the end, K'nuckles decides to turn back. Flapjack happens to spot the real Candied Island, but everyone thinks it's a hallucination and proceed back to Stormalong.

If Family Guy was like this nobody would watch it and it never would have survived a full season. The show Looneytunes is describing is nothing like how Family Guy actually is. If people actually think FG needs that much retooling then it's obvious to me that they don't really like the show in the first place.

:^: I agree with DG's post. I don't see the point of writing an episode of a show just to change every ruddy thing about it to the point where it no longer resembles the original show anymore. That's why I don't write fan fiction; any fic that I would write would be my take on the show and the characters, not the original creators'.

Sorry, but I'm just not feeling this idea. Every character doesn't need to have a boyfriend/girlfriend. The mentality of putting everyone in a romantic relationship just for the sake of doing so screams "fanfic" to me. Furthermore, if the Griffins became a happy, functional family, they would no longer be the Griffins and Family Guy would no longer be Family Guy. I'm all for creative license, but if writing a show for you means changing everything about said show to the point where it seems like an entirely different creature, then you're clearly not a true fan of the show. It means that you like the idea behind the show more than the show itself.
