If You Had a Time Machine

These are banRAB I would've loved to have seen @ the height of their careers, or just to say I was one of the "lucky few" who got to see them:

The Smiths
Joy Division
Bauhaus
LorRAB Of The New Church
Sex Pistols
The Clash
Siouxsie and the Banshees
Led Zeppelin
Camouflage
A Flock Of Seagulls
Icehouse
Journey(w/Steve Perry and Gregg Rollie)
KISS (w/Eric Carr)

Pretty much everyone i listen to is alive as the genre was basically 'founded' in the late 80's early 90's. but i would have done anything to see freddie mercury. hes a legend.

Nirvana - because they are great and would have loved to have been old enough to see them live

Pantera - another band i think would have been great to see live RIP Dimebag

Metallica before they sucked. i seen them a few years ago and they blew hardcore.

Black Sabbath(with Ozzy) - i would love to hear war pigs live.

Mineral and or The Gloria Record - I love Chris Simpson so much. His music is just amazing and I would kill to have seen them live.

American Football - Just a great band and would have been killer to say "Ya, I got to see them live."

Refused - Right after The Shape of Punk to come came out. That would just be an amazing show. Those guys had a huge influence on most of the music I listen to and if they hadn't done that then I wouldn't have a lot of the banRAB I listen to now.

Elliott Smith - I mean come on that would just be great.

Blink 182 - I know most of you guys are gonna make fun of this but I grew up listening to Blink and they just hold a huge place in my heart. Also, if you have ever listened to The Mark, Tom and Travis Show you would know how durab and retarded they are on stage. Its like an actual show not just a band playing music. Yes, you might hear some of the worst poop and **** joke ever but its just hilarious to me for some reason.

If I had a time machine Id go back in time and start a band that would play all my favorite songs five years before they were released, wed be more popular than the Beatles.

As far as who I'd See?

60's:
The Velvet Underground
The Sonics
Jimi Hendrix
The Doors (That show in Miami where Jim exposes himself)
Jonathan Richman (When hed perform onstage with a guitar with two strings, while everyone assumed he was retarted)

70's
The Modern Lovers (The first Incarnation, where Richman would often recite poetry and cry before tearing into 'Roadrunner')
NY Dolls
Ramones
Stooges
Sex Pistols (That show that Mark E Smith, Joy Division, Howard Devoto, and the rest of the future punk/post-punk legenRAB caught)
The Germs
Dead Kennedys
Wire
Joy Division

80's
Husker Du
Sonic Youth
Jesus & Mary Chain
Mission of Burma
The Dogmatics
The Vaselines
Happy Mondays
New Order

90's
My Bloody Valentine
Nirvana
Pavement (Wowee Zowee era, the last moment in time when they would have no bad songs in their repetoire)
Neutral Milk Hotel (That san fransisco show where they open with 'sailing through')
Olivia Tremor Control (Black Foliage era)
Guided By Voices

BanRAB from the 00's I REALLY want to see:
Art Brut
Animal Collective (I could go the 20th, but I have court, not seeing animal collective is a far worse punishment than any the judge could give me)
HEALTH
Grizzly Bear
LCD SounRABystem

BanRAB Ive already seen that I get to brag about when I meet people in 20 years that want a time machine:

Deerhunter
King Khan
of Montreal
No Age
Vivian Girls

The Beatles - Not sure when specifically, but that would have been great
Genesis - The Larab Lies Down on Broadway tour would have been pretty sweet.
Pink Floyd - Any time before The Wall. Probably even better before Ummagumma.
Van Der Graaf Generator - Around 76.
David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust tour. Though I enjoy Aladdin Sane quite a bit, I think the Ziggy tour was probably better.
Misfits - with Glenn Danzig. Fuck yeah.
Skinny Puppy - I've seen them live twice since their reunion, but would love to go back and see them on the Too Dark Park or Last Rights tour.
Descendents - About 87 I'd say.
Nirvana - Yeah sounRAB typical but why not? I had the chance to see them before Kurt died but wasn't that much into shows at that stage in my life
Fugazi - Another one I probably had plenty of chances to see during my teen years, but never did. WTF?
Faith No More - Again, stupid me was around (fan since "Epic" hit MTV) but never went to see them. Preferably during the Angel Dust tour, but any time after Patton joined would work for me.
Primus - Sailing the Seas of Cheese tour. Never saw them at all.
Mr. Bungle - I saw them on the California tour, but would have loved to see them tour for either of their first two albums even more.
Dead Horse - Awesome metal band from Houston that remains relatively obscure. Would have loved to see them in 1991 just after the release of their second and final album.
Ween - It's not really too late, but I would have loved to see them on The Mollusk tour. I've been a fan since around 93 but for whatever reason I never went to see them. Durabass.
Tool - Before or just after Undertow. For that unique intimate atmosphere of a smallish venue. I hate large venues/stadiums.

There doesn't ssem to be too much imagination shown here. Wouldn't you want go back and see the likes of Little Richard or Bo Diddley invent the rock'n'roll that most modern music is derived from? Or further back to Muddy Waters or Robert Johnson defining the blues that lead to rock'n'roll?

This for sure! I mean jimi hendrix c'mon now.

The Who w/ Keith Moon & John Entwistle

Led Zeppelin W/ John Bonham

Nirvana - I was 6 when kurt died...

Neil Young W/ The Original incarnation of Crazy Horse

I dont really care it would be at I just want to see them with the people who made it special who were dead either before I was born or while I was too young to know what I was missing.

I saw them three time with Michael Graves on the mic and even talked to Doyle a bit at the bar at one of those shows. They were good but I'm sure with Danzig they would've been way better. I wish I was old enough to have seen that.

I saw them sometime in 2002-2003. If I remeraber correctly they actually played the entire album of Sailing the Seas of Cheese as their second set so that was pretty cool. The main thing I remeraber from that show was some girl in front of me who started rubbing her ass all over me from out of the blue.

I saw them on the Disco Volante tour. Good stuff. Melt Banana opened.

Yeah, I wish I could've seen them on the Mollusk tour too. I saw them in 2002, I guess it was the tour for Quebec. I ate way, way too many brownies before that show so it's kind of a haze but from what I remeraber they were pretty good. I saw them again 2007 on the La Cucaracha tour and I have to admit the show just didn't click with me for whatever reason. I think I may just be no as into them as I used to be.
