there anything to do? I've had the same Yahoo email for years, since like '01 or so when I started college, it was my first email outside of just using my parents email at home, and it has all my friends/family members email addresses and all my saved emails I want to keep from the past as well as it's where I get all my emails now. However, I stupidly signed up for contests/sweepstakes/surveys with this email address before anyone ever told me that that was stupid and you should use a throw away email to do that sort of stuff. Now I'm inundated with spam that doesn't even all go to the junk folder. I try unsubscribe and it never seems to help. I feel like I get more spam as a result of that and I think I read somewhere not too long ago that that actually is what ends up happening. So, my question is, is there anything to do to get rid of a lot of this spam or is the email beyond saving? I also like the email id I chose and would hate to switch but I will if there's no other choice. I literally get so much spam I can't even keep up with filtering out my real emails and deleting all the spam ones. Only constructive responses please, even if it's to say that there's no fixing it and make a new account. Thanks for your help.
