True Story.

Every considerable retialer in Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Long Island City has a line. Even fucking BJ's (like Costco/Sams Club) has a frikkin line on tents. Word on the streets is a fight already broke out at the Atlantic Terminal Mall Circuit City, this afternoon. Good luck to all the jobless pasty white folk walking to their cars..
 
same here in austin

we made phone calls to pretty much every walmart within a 60mile raidus and every single one of them are full
 
Target already has lines too... I spoke with a friend who is a manger at one in White Plains this afternoon.. His store is getting 12 systems and as of 4:30pm ET there were 17 people lined up outside
 
Im sitting in a Walmart near Tampa, FL

I am sitting in a comfy lawn chair indoors along with the rest of us (8 of us). It started to rain so Walmart moved everyone into the Garden Center (about 79 degrees in here). This Walmart is 6 months old and is nice as hell. There isnt more than 5-10 customers tops in the entire store right now.

Im #1 in line, and #2 & #3 in line are being paid by me to be there.

I also have a 2 friends camping out at Best Buy (they're drunk as hell and watching family guy with 25 new friends).

Major cities = lose. BFE FTW!!!
 
Ha. Last night there wasn't any at my local Best Buy, Walmart, etc.

I doubt people decided to make one after midnight.

I'm going to go today after class.

I'm still recommending going to a best buy or other major retailer early on launch night and telling the head manager that you'll buy a large TV, with cables, accessories and warrentee if they save you a PS3. I bet it'd work at some places. They are not going to give a shit about people that are waiting in line. You'd have to find a store that has been having shitty sales to make the manager jump at your offer.

It would be sweet to walk into the store right as they open for launch to get your goods while all the other smucks had to wait in line.
