If you could have anything?

Hello All,
I am a mechanical engineer with a love of Ducati's. So I was seriously considering making parts for my 1098s. Maybe some custom rear sets or a SM like triple, or a side mounted license plate bracket, something that could be done on a CNC. (which I have access to and I know a guy who does anodizing) I would also like to have a larger fuel tank without spending $1500! Maybe a remote fuel resevoir that added about a gallon but was hidden out of sight and filled from the original tank penetration. Something that could be bolted on without any metal work. Then it occurred to me that if I want these things so do many of you.

So I ask you to dream with me:
What would you make, or buy that doesn't already exist, or does exist but costs a little more than you are willing to pay? I have a bit of an entrepreneurial side and if there is enough interest I could see this panning out.

Your thoughts/idea are all very appreciated.

Sincerely,

Andy

(PS - Moviefreak, there are plenty of no-cut underbody frame sliders available, and i have added them on my bike. OK so they won't stop the fairing from scratching in a tipover, but I've seen how effective they are in a side on trackdays. Having the protector under the plastic fairing means the "knob" won't catch on anything as the plastic slides........you'll lose the fairing side but at least you won't bend the frame....)

Yeah I have the unders on mine but I would love to see a nice set that maybe sits flush with the vent on the side. I would prefer something that would save the plastics.

Yeah - I see your point. There was a set posted here previously (might have to do a search, I can't recall the brand name) but it bolted across the clutch basket (RHS) and sprocket-housing/water pump area (LHS). Whilst the position was perfect for a tipover, the damage to the engine crankcase would be unimaginable in a slide!

1. Mirror extenders. Take a look what's out there and do better.

2. Tail tidy/license plate bracket. Good looking one with nice integrated LED turn signals/ possible flasher auxilary brake light. Something that is plug and play.

3. LED turnbsignals on brackets that are bright, simple to install, fit in the rear vents and are pllug and play.

Lot's of good rear sets already out there.

then you got everything, what is there to talk about? J/K

I would like to have a lighter clutch pull and maybe a slipper clutch standard.
