If you could complain to Tesco about one thing, what would it be?

I'd like to complain that they don't have a single store in Australia.

Being an English girl Down Under, I can safely say they'd wipe the floor with Coles and Woolworths!

Oh god, only one thing?!?

How about:
- they are preventing other, smaller stores from succeeding in business
- they waste loads (as an above post said)
- they are swamping the market in as many areas as they possibly can
- they encourage spending by having BOGOF offers (as do many other supermarkets, I know)
- they encourage out of town spending, thus preventing shops in smaller areas succeeding
- they mess around small suppliers as their produce isn't always to the 'perfection' they require (eg not perfectly round oranges, apples with small marks, etc) and can often change their mind at very short notice, so leave producers stuck with produce

Sorry, couldn't choose just one

I'd ask them to stop massively increasing prices up on random products only for them to go back down to original price (or a penny more) a few days later. That is sooo infuriating!

And, I'd ask them to put more checkouts on all the time, and have less self serve checkouts.

Their onions!!

For the last few months the outer layer of their onions have been translucent and slimy.

A lot of the time when you cut the onion in half, big segments are all soft too.

It's a very common occurrence and one which I mean to compla about.

I did complain to them about some oranges which they claimed were 'sweet and juicy' on the label. They were so sour it made your eyes water. When I took them back to customer services (I don't normally bother but I was annoyed by their sweet and juicy claim) the woman on the desk made this youth working on the Fruit and Veg section try one - his face said it all and I got a refund.
