If you could choose, is there a voice from the past, in history, that you'd...

...really like...? ...to hear if it was possible?
I often think how very privileged we are to have access to all sorts of historical films and recordings that date back to decades ago which fortunately has kept the past alive for us in our times. Not only is important history preserved on film, with or without sound, for politics, warfare, and medicine, but in the entertainment field with sound recordings of famous names still admired today.

I was wondering if there is a special person from the past who lived before sound preservation that you'd give a lot to hear. Pres. Lincoln has been quoted so many times and I often wonder what he would have sounded like. I don't think his voice was preserved on any recordings because they weren't invented yet. And who wouldn't like to know what Cleopatra sounded like, hm? ;-) or Napoleon!
