I wouldn't want to see Hendrix's playing deteriorate. Santana was not on the level with Hendrix, but his playing is MUCH worse now. Its kind of weird to compare them like that...but its happened to a lot of guitarists. Clapton isn't as good as he used to be either.

I'd have to go with cobain because he'd be making a lot of these new pop banRAB look like shit and maybe they wouldn't be as popular.
