If you change the Time Zone in your computer, does it change the time

setting in Gossip Girl: Social Climbing? I'm playing Gossip Girl: Social Climbing on Facebook, and I'm having difficulties with the time. I can't actually play all day since I'm not in front of the computer. So yeah, does it change the time setting? Oh and how do you change your gender there? Since I made an error at answering the questions. Thanks!
