Apparently and you do so very poorly. Did you see her interview with Matt Lauer on "Today"? She looked like an idiot. Maybe the joke was in bad taste, but since when are comedians supposed to censor themselves? What kind of a show would "South Park" be if the writers worried about offending someone? She can't explain what President Bush's foreign policy was and she's upset at Letterman? She can't even decide whether to attend a GOP fundraiser if she's not the keynote speaker. She thinks Alaska's oil will solve our energy crisis and doesn't recognize it would be more than 20 years to get the pipeline built. This is the best she's got?
 
since when is it NOT okay for a mom to not want her kids made fun of, especially in a sexual way?

If you are a bad luck piece for the republicans party you take on late night show comedians. Meanwhile, they attention is on your lies while the dems are movie ahead getting what they want. I know I always wonder why reps. never know what is going on. They are constantly distracted. Good news for libs. I saw the video of Dave & he never said what the reps. claimed he said. He made a mistake any 62 yr. old man would make by using the wrong weird name. So this is going to come back to bite the cons is a huge way. Comedians do not want to be harrassed they are not running the country. They are spouting lots of unstructured channelled material. So the reps. have made enemies with some brilliant people.

Edit: David M...got to say something to you. Why do so-called "comedians" get a pass on making disgusting and hateful comments about a young woman? I am bi-racial; my black community has a really poor track record when it comes to unwed young mothers. Let me ask you a question and tell me honestly (if you come back to answer at all): If a "comedian" made a remark like that concerning one of the Obama girls, would it still be funny to you? Would you still be referencing South Park and going "Oh, well"?
Maybe your tolerance only spreads so thin?
 
I agree that Governor Palin is not intellectually equipped to hold national office but David Letterman was out of line and should have been called on it.

He should try to apologize like a gentleman if he has the maturity to do it.
