what happens to your rank and pay? My husband has never been in trouble before for anything at all in the Army. He is a hard worker, does his job well, and if anything, people look up to him. Well, we recently went on leave and one of the last nights, he went out to the bar with some friends. He got super drunk and ended up smoking pot. We came back to our duty station, and a few days later he had a urinalisis test. He got a call that he failed it. Right now, he is in WLC and they aren't pulling him out of that. But will take action after his classes are done. What will happen to him? Will he automatically get a Field Grade Article 15? Or is there ANY chance that since he has never been in trouble, it won't be as bad for him? What about rank and pay?I know about the zero tolerance policy, but I have heard of a lot of people who don't get discharged, or they aren't in as much trouble as by the books. His 1st Sgt. and him get along really well and I know they are all pulling for him. I really appreciate anything. I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant and really worrying about what's going to happen. Thank you.
