on everyone or just the Rich? I love it when I hear Republicans that are obviously not in the high income range say they wold prefer a tax hike on everyone rather than on the Rich? If we have to raise taxes and only if it is necessary as no one like tax hikes, then I would want them to tax the Rich rather than me! I make about 135,000 a year and already pay more than enough in taxes. I think you would have to be pretty stupid to want a tax cut on yourself. Dont you?

A Tax break of course if better but if they had to raise taxes after they cut what they could, then I would go with the Tax hike for the Rich.
I prefer it to be sunny...we cannot have everything. If you had to choose between two things a hike on you or a hike on the rich..I take the rich. It is not a hard question. An honest answer from a Republican would be refreshing. I did not have an option c..just a or b
Maybe this is why Tough choices have to be left with the Democrats.
 
I'd prefer that the government actually cut SPENDING like we have to do in the REAL world. Only in Government can they decide they're taking more of my money without actually getting my permission 1st.

I think i'd like to see a FLAT tax for people that make 30,000/yr on up. Everyone pays the same percent of their income! The rich will definately get taxed more because the make more, but someone who only works part time may not have to pay anything.
 
Just last week Biden announced that 250K mark to be "rich" has now dropped to 85K concerning taxes, tax cuts and tax breaks. Um?

And though I am not rich I believe it is wrong to tax one person at 40% and another at 10%, just as I feel it is wrong to pay the "white" guy more than a equally qualified "black" guy, what ever happened to fairness and equality, why should a person be penalized for success. The country should go to a flat tax where every one that earns a dollar is taxed 10%, no deductions, no questions. no rebates, no earned income credit, no nothing, etc etc.

re: You gotta ask yourself --how gullible are the Republican base? They support tax cuts for the rich when most of them are Walmart shoppers and make under 50,000 a year. Why do they vote against their own interests so often...isnt that a sign of lesser intelligence?

They listen to Fox news and millionaires like Beack and Limbaugh...mayne this has affected thier senses, or lack of.
