husband stay with her? It's not me. I'm just asking as a theoretical question. The marriage vows say "for better or for worse" but in the 1600s there was no AIDS.
 
First my wife cheated on me. (Reason enough for divorce)
Then she gave me an incurable disease while cheating. (Reason enough to kill her)

So I guess my is answer is no.
 
There's a limit to the "worse" part in every religion and form of Christianity, and usually mispresentation (aka fraud, lying, etc.) is usually one of the ones that will void your marriage in the eyes of God.

I think that you are taking the vow out of context, and need to realize that giving some one aids (knowingly or not) is pretty much killing them. If my husband cheated on me and brought home anything, I'd be gone. It's not only betrayal because of the cheating, it's saying that he didn't even respect himself, our relationship, and potentially any children by not using protection.
