My girlfriend is in the Air Force and within her first week of basic training her heart stopped on her and now her heart rate changes all the time. Right now they have her in the the dorm for discharge but she has a appointment with a cardiologist on Tuesday to find out what is wrong. But she called me today and told her that if it is fixable they will keep her. But every recruiter I talked to when I wanted to join said heart conditions was automatic disqualification. So can they really keep her or are they felling her full of bull crap?
If when in basic training and you develop a heart condition can they keep you in?
