If we take a '97 Chevy Cavalier from Vegas to L.A., how much money should we

plan on spending for gas? Planning a road trip for next week, Vegas to L.A. and back. We are either taking the aforementioned '97 Cavalier or a '96 VW Golf. Obviously, we can't get an exact amount but we're trying to figure out how much we should budget for gas.

Do you think $200 each (3 people) will get us there, hoteled, fed and back?
