over elements external to us? I live my life subject to a number of external and internal circumstances which i have no control . Tomorrow i can drop dead from a heart attack, can get killed by a speeding lorry , get murdered, die in a plane crash, get eaten by a wild animal, get killed in an earth quake, or be diagnosed with a fatal illness that would claim me life sooner or later.
Look at it with commonsense and animals go through the same process of not having any control over external and internal circumstances they face, but the only difference between animals and humans are that while animals due to them not been self aware do not have to think about it while humans have to wrestle with it.
So how can you call it a divine plan by an external deity?
