If we have telescopes orbiting the Earth?

The moon is about 1000 times farther away from the Hubble telescope than the earth is. A camera in low earth orbit capable of resolving the landers, rovers, and flags on the moon could see objects the size of beetles and ants on earth. They really are too small to see.
 
We can't? Without researching it maybe because they are too close to us to focus optics made to clarify stars trillions of light years away. Maybe the flag fell down and got covered in dust. Or, maybe it didn't fall, got covered in dust, and now still stands proudly if not blending into the background.
 
I've always thought that and most says its because they don't have the resolution, i find that ridiculous considering how far we can see into space with them, i just think that the people that do own and use them don't want to look at the moon and prove it to be a hoax or not, or they already know and wish not to let anyone else know.
 
If we had powerful telescopes in space and on Earth, then why can't we see the American flag and other equipment left on the moon by Apollo?
I mean if we can send a rover to Mars...why not the moon?
tahrqa81...then why can we see everything in someones back yard through the hubble telescope from space, but not the American Flag on the moon?
