workers are $48 then why ca? the auto union make this cut or are they just expecting all us taxpayers to give them a BIG hand???
 
I notice you don't mention where you got your statistics. Maybe because you made them up? dbag.
 
I don't completely understand the question here, but the unions are what's killing the auto makers in this country. Lots of power and over bloated with administrators.

Cut the average wage, the union itself gets less money from its members.

Bottom line. The automakers in this country are on the brink of bankruptcy. If I were them, I'd take the deal. Better to be employed than out of a job, even if it does mean a paycut.

Put the employees of the big three out of a job, then the country pays for unemployment benefits.

Who do you think is being unreasonable?
