If THUNDERCATS was remade, what would you want to see?

Simple question. Thundercats was, by and large, one of the most inventive action cartoons of the 80's. And not only has animation improved in the last two decades, but there's a lot they could do in animated shows today without all the parental-group restrictions.

And please, if you want to talk about how much you hate remakes, start your own thread.

I'll just repeat my previous answers, with something else that occured to me in the meanwhile ...

1. I'd like to see the studio use more than 7 voice actors for over two dozen recurring characters.

2. Make the Thundercats more animal-like.

3. Lose the little 'here's the moral' denouements at the end of every episode. Just be a nice, entertaining action show.

4. Lose Snarf. :)

Oh no, you did not dis my Snarf  :>: .

Anyhow, I would like to see a minimum 3 season commitment of the show. Even if it gets canceled like He-man 2002, I still want to see closure to the show - no cliffhangers.

A tv series would be good. But if it's too expensive, a movie will be fine. And if it can't be shown on CN, then show it on regular tv.

I don't want to see new characters unless it was absolutely necessary. Just keep with the basics.

They could make Snarf work. He's supposed to be the nanny, so make him a little less annoying sidekick, a little more Alfred Pennyworth.

I've been thinking a lot about this, and the one thing that I really would like to dig into is what the TCats' lives were like on Thundera, before it went all explody. It could be like "Lost", where we flash back to stuff that happened on Thundera leading up to the end and flesh out the characters' backgrounds that way.

A prequel would be ok, but chances are new characters would be introduced. I'm not sure if I want to see that.

The prequel could explain the introduction of the original show. There's a scene where Cheetara is running through the reptiles and monkians. Maybe it was based on a planetary war between the Cats and the Reptiles/Monkeys.
