Ok, so I've been playing around with this idea for a story for about 3 months now, and i spent all day developing the plot and the characters. So let's just pretend I've written a book, and this is what it says on the back cover.
Taylor Benton never expected to be tormented by the ghost of a lonely murder victim set upon destroying her this summer when she took her brother to the park one day. What started out as an ordinary vacation, ended in an epic battle of fear and mystery for Taylor as she fights for sanity, her best friend, for anyone to believe her, and ultimately for her very life. Her head is filled with questions, her heart is filled with solitude when she discovers what’s happening to her. Why won’t anyone believe her? Why is she a target? Does this ghost have anything to do with her father’s mysterious murder? Taylor will find the answer to all these questions this summer as she gets swept up in a mysterious ghost tale of her very own.
I was planning on the genre of this story being a mystery and a ghost story. Would you read this? It's just an idea i thought of a few months ago. Before i take it to a greater level (like actually beginning to write it lol) i wanted to know if anyone else thought it was worth reading.
Please be honest and be nice. I'm self conscious lol. Don't be mean but give me your honest opinion on the idea. =]
btw, the little clippet i gave you isn't supposed to reveal much. like i said it's a mystery. but it's from the point of view of Taylor (the girl i mentioned) and i can't really explain the plot or what happens because unless you read the actual story, it's confusing to both of us when i try and tell you about it lol
