If there were an ancient advanced civilization on Earth...?

in the distant past, either from a terrestrial race or extra-terrestrial (yeah, I know this is sci-fi stuff...lets just entertain the possibility), more than say 1 mya, would there even be anything left TO find? Is it even remotely possible that before one of the many mass extinctions another race rose up on Earth that possesed advanced technology?

There would be no more than fragmentary scraps of memory and unusual finds like nuclear tektites in the desert.

Is it possible? No, it's not. That would be so long ago that any ruins or objects would either have been destroyed or turned to dust. And as for the advanced technology, that's not possible. If there was advanced technology, then they would have lived longer, and the metals that they would have used would have survived.
