if there is an even amount of numbers , do i count the two middle ones in the Q1...

...and Q3 ? okay this might be confusing but the median of a data set is split between 83&85 so the median is 84 . now im looking for the Q1 and Q3 . do i count 83 in with the lower half of the set to find the Q1 ? sorry i cant remember -
