If the interstate highway system was proposed today would you support it?

I ask because I was talking with someone who wished the government would embark on a project to lay high speed broadband cables like those in Scandinavia, Japan and South Korea across the United States. He compared it to the building of the interstate system and if you supported the construction of that then why nrabroad
the high speed broadband?
 
so how does the road get built.

and how does the water get to your town

and how do you get hooked up to electric and telephone.
 
i guess I should have just regurgitated from the book of Rand and nrabroad
had original thoughts about this.
 
This question doesn't take into account how much the U.S. Route system would have expanded (or upgraded) itself between the sixties (when most of the Interstate system was built) and today.

If those routes haven't already become quasi-Interstate grade already, I'd probably go for it. Of course the costs would probably fuck us all in the ass for decades to come. Grin and put a lil more lube on it.



More like the free market "promised" me a 10Mbit connection but it's only putting out 3Mbit, if it's nrabroad
suffering from constant downtime due to either the nodes being swamped or the equipment being shit or the IT team's too cheap and nrabroad
experienced enough to fix problems that pop up.
