Why has nothing happen to be added to it in thousands of years?
I mean - the events of the Bible (and all holy books I suppose) were written many, many years ago, but since that time - there has been nothing. No prophets - which seemed to happen a lot at the time the Bible was written. Nothing.
And if OT was written for that time and as the time has changed, much no longer applies - why doesn't God do it all again and write something which fits in with the world today - not the world of thousands of years ago.
Seems like it has all gone quiet. I can see people saying that people need to turn to the Bible for this world to be better - but HOW when the Bible was restoring order to life thousands of years ago - we cannot stone people today, so it doesn't help people in this life.
Why would the events of the Bible all happen years ago, and then go silent? Makes it sounds as though the men who wrote it, were using their own imaginations, and since they all died - so did the continuation of the Bible.
