I fail to see why either party should get a pass if they did something wrong. Both should have paid for their "supposed" misdeeds....being elected or not doesn't make a hill of beans of difference...people are people and should be treated the same whether famous or not, rich or poor...if they are guilty of a crime, money or prestige should not buy them a get out of jail free card...If Laura Bush hurt or killed someone and it was her fault, she should have served time...TED Kennedy DID kill someone through his wreckless actions which shows his lack of character and decency and he should have served time for his actions...but...unfortunately...he was allowed to live his life and be raised to a status of some kind of hero...which is a farce...our country is sometimes too enamored with someone's last name.

Uh... I don't think the police, the press, the victims family or anyone else saw it that way.. It was an accident.

Also, I'm sure she didn't leave the scene and wait overnight before she called anyone..

There was an investigation into Laura. There was a sort of, and a kind of... money used to buy people investigation with teddy.

What kind of example does that show children? You can get drunk, get in an accident, walk away and let a pregnant passanger die, report it 10 hours later when you are no longer drunk, and then you walk away with a slap on the hand like nothing even happend. You go back to your glamorous powerful high paying job without a second thought.........you really need a lesson on accepting consiquences for your mistakes...

Its funny how Im only 17 and I know more about responsibility then you do..
 
As far as i'm concerned every single political figure is and has been corrupt for many years there is not one including obama that has no skeletons in the closet.
