if something microwaves cooked in 2 minutes, will 3 items automatically take 6 mins

to cook or is that wrong? Do you simply multiply the number of items by the number of minutes??

1 burger = 2 minutes so 4 burgers together simply take 8 minutes or does microwaves work different to that??
