if someone were to fall asleep while you were intimate for the first time?

if you dated someone for months building tension and finally when your together he falls asleep during the moment -- would you except all the excuses of how tired he was and that it had been a long week -- or would you take this as a big huge red flag that this is no relationship to continue? If a man was trulyexcited to be with a woman for the first time couldn't he manage to keep himself awake for an additional hour in the day?
