anything to them? Someone was smashing mailboxes lastnight i was curious? like if u could shoot em with a BB gun or tackle them
So if they smash your mailbox you cant do anything besides call cops???
 
You'd be charged with assault because you aren't using self defense. If they aren't attacking you specifically then all you can do is call the police.
 
No you can't...unless you want to get yourself arrested. You simply file a police report and then sue the person for damaging your property.
