If someone receives their disclosure, should confiscated evidence be given back?

My brother was the target of a police raid in August. It was an ongoing investigation, and since he's my brother, my house was also searched for some reason.

They took my computer claiming that there were chat logs on there that he had with another contact. He never used my computer before, but they seized it anyway. Four months later and after his disclosure was released to him and his lawyer, they still won't give me my computer back. They're claiming it was bought with illegally obtained money and will only give it back when they have proof otherwise, but I have receipts to prove it was bought with money I earned while working. Also in the disclosure it says that they have no reason to believe the computer was bought with illegally obtained money.

I posted a question about this earlier and somebody said I may never get my computer back. There must be something I can do, isn't there?
