If someone looks drunk and is about to get into their car can you stop them?

I have heard a story on the news that a person beat up a drunk guy b/c
he wanted to drive his car drunk
The guy that beat up the drunk was called a hero and never served jail time the drunk got beat up pretty bad also
So that gives me the chioce to fight with someone if they decide to drive drunk??? and become a HERO???
If they were going into the drivers side
 
Not a smart thing to do. It could get you hurt or killed. Best thing to do is get their license plate number, notify the police and let them take care of it. Not all departments would look at you as a hero. You could end up getting in trouble for assault and battery.
