Would they really make that information public, like they said they would? Or would the government step in to prevent that disclosure of information to the public at large? What do you think about this?
What reason could they possibly have to keep stuff like that secret? It's not like the aliens would be -here-, they would probably be many light years away; possibly so far away that they could be extinct by the time we see their signals.
