If religion never existed, would the moral qualities of todays civilization would

exist? such as good deeds.? morality existed mainly because it was demanded from religion, such as good deeds, doing good things etc. But if religion never existed, will the morality of our time disappear ? or will it resurface in some other way? or will the moral boundaries be unlimited, since there are no specific guidelines ( Bible,Koran etc). or will it be not knowing from which is right and wrong from our view?
 
Yes - on an individual scale - but on a societal scale, I don't think so. honestly people are always trying to argue about something because they have to be right.

Just live your life dont try to talk it
dont try to do anything that wont get you anwhere
 
I think morals would be much stronger and have much clearer boundaries in a world raised without religion. Boundaries and morals would be based on what's intrinsically right and fair rather than on a fear of hell or a pat on the head from a deity.
 
Social Engineering 101 would still apply. Religions codify the rules that naturally arise to keep social groups stable. In other words: morality evolved.
 
so you're saying man would be evil without religion?

so for you to understand right and wrong you need to learn it?

I guess you're saying we're born with no feelings until we learn it from a book.
