If Property is theft, then why doesnt Long Haired Freaky Person give up his computer?

Adam Smith states labor is what gives value, but we put labor into property and then someone can own it. Even though we might not add value directly to property, we might add it indirectly. We trade labor and even if we don't give value directly.
THose who think property is theft, are the true thieves who want to steal my labor.

PS, Long hair blocked me so I can't read what he said, probably because he is afraid of legitimate counterarguements.

Pot calling kettle?
I don't see you people donating your asses to charity (alas, charity institutions aren't compelled by any law to actually donate what money they manage to assemble), bringing the fight to your latest enemy nation, blowing a criminal's carcass to hell, or a number of other things you've all raved on about.
Unpleasant!

We've all been signed, no consent required, into a social contract of dying and killing to protect the private property of rich, rich bastards.
Some don't agree.

If you do, good for you.
Just get some cash out of it.
Make it count.

Wow, you really don't understand that statement at all.

There ya go, show the world that that one went right over your head, lol.

First, I do wish we could all come up with some more imaginative insult to constantly throw at each other than "hypocrite." I'm getting tired of seeing this word overused on every single thread. There are many things worse than hypocrisy. "Hypocrisy", as Oscar Wilde said, "is the compliment that vice pays to virtue."

Secondly, this question gets asked a lot, but it fails to understand the essential nature of socialism. Socialism isn't about private acts of philanthropy - it's about systematic change. So LHFP could well reply that he is a thief, but only because he is intractably immersed in a system of thievery. Giving away his computer would solve nothing. Fighting to end an economic system of inherent injustice is a real solution.Of course, I have no idea whether LHFP would say anything of the sort - these are my words, not his.
