One of the main selling points of man made global warming is the climate is changing to fast and don't have enough time to adapt.
The climate was significantley warmer 8000 years ago. There was the little ice age. The next ice age can come as soon as 10,000 years.

Polar bears needed 200,000 years to adapt from being brown bears.

If global warming can't be adapted to, how is anything going to adapt to the next ice age?
Not too many animals have adapted to antartica, in a non ice age.
