If planets do not produce their own light, how are we able to see Mars and Venus in

the night sky? If planets do not produce their own light, how are we able to see Mars and Venus in the night sky?

A. They are brighter than the stars that surround them.
B. They are close enough to Earth to reflect light from the moon
C. Planets reflect light from the sun.
 
We see them the same way we see a tree outside in the daytime. Trees don't produce their own light either.
 
C. even though slight, the light reflected from the surface of planets is visable at night, even a small candle at a far distance is visable on a dark night.
