If Obama were to bash McCain on age during a debate, then what would McCain say?

I remember what Reagan said in 1984 when Mondale raised the age issue: "I will not make age an issue of this campaign; I am not going to expoit, for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience".

But what would McCain say, if Obama were to raise that issue?

well he is a republican, so the assumption would be would say something racist, cut his social security and then prohibit him from getting an abortion.

And hopefully Obama wont try that angle since Reagan was the greatest president EVAH!

Maturity, and not age, is the issue at hand. I personally don't think any of the candidates have the maturity thing down pat (Hillary, Obama, and McCain). Of course there are other candidates still in the race, but the media refuses to cover their campaigns.

He really can't make much of an issue of it due to his relative lack of inexperience. They balance each other out. McCain can simply say that Obama is inexperienced, and has done nothing in Congress his whole time there.

Age is not an issue. 25% of the Senate is McCain's age or older. 44% of the Supreme Court is McCain's age or older. Churchill and Golda Meir both were excellent leaders and older than McCain. Even the Commie Mao Zedong ran Red China when he was in his 80's.
