it's a good strategy to reduce the size of social programs in government.

I mean the BS that tax cuts create jobs is kind of off the mark (especially if you consider we've had tax cuts from 2001-2011 and we're shedding jobs like crazy), but if you're looking to ram through revenue decreases that force debt higher and higher when you know that spending is already high....starving the beast works.
