If Obama approves the 40,000 addt'l troop request, how would that affect military...

...recruitment? Would the recruitment quotas increase? Would they be Marines or Soldiers? Would there be a change in benefits or enlistment bonuses? I'm planning on enlisting and am not sure if I should wait to hear this news first? Thanks
 
It should not affect it. The troops that he will send in are already trained for the task. They just rotate different units that are deploy-able. They would deploy Marines, Army, Air Force and Special Ops & other groups..
