Would it be a big adjustment to turn her into an indoors-only cat? She is my first and my family-in-law had urged me to let her get out but I am starting to think I shouldn't have for safety reasons as well as a problem with male cats getting in and stenching up the place.
She would be alone in there every day the whole day as me and my boyfriend are both out from 7am to 7pm. Our apartment is really very small, it is only a big room and then a bathroom and small kitchen.
Should I maybe only let her out in the evenings when we are home?
