If my girlfriend has Sprint and i can pick what carrier what should i do?

personally i like the htc incredible but why does verizon have to be so expensive, plus i will have to get into a 2 year plan which sucks. and i would wait for the evo 4g but idk its a few months and i'm impatient, i really don't know what to do, help. i live in a good cell phone coverage area, plus i had sprint then went 2 verizon then now i'm back wit sprint but i can leave, and idk what to do
