husbands next duty station? I am pregnant and I want to make a nursery for my baby girl. I want to go all out on the bedding and furniture because its fun to decorate, of course I cant do anything to the walls but if I do have this nursery, I will be able to take all these bulky items right? So far we have stayed in furnished apartments so that's why I am asking about furniture.
My husband is an E-6
 
If he is Active Duty, then yes the military will move your furniture. The amount/weight allowed for shipping depends on his rank and number of dependents. He will be briefed on all of this when he clears his current duty station before a PCS.

*I'm not exactly sure of the weight allowed. The most we have had moved was after my husband was out (he took a break in service before deciding to go back in) and I had just gotten out... I was an E5 and had a 3 bedroom house full of furniture and didn't have a problem.
