...grant cover it all? I am receiving the maximum amount of money for the pell grant. I am currently in cosmetology, but i'd like to switch to another school for barbering only. The tuition at the cosmetology school I am currently attending is only $3800 and the pell has paid for only one semester. I already know that if I transfer that my pell will be applied to the other school, however since I will be transfering in the middle of the 2009-2010 year, I assume that the money I was awarded will apply now and then when the new school year begins in August of 2010 for the 2010-2011 school year, then I will get that same amount of money and it will cover the rest of my tuition.
